Mechanical Traction

Traction is a technique used in spinal decompression therapy that aims to reduce pressure and pain from the head, spine, and other joints. Traction is used to treat herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, neck/low back pain, and other various spine disorders. Types of traction include: Manual Traction - Traction performed with a therapist's hands through manual force to promote pressure relief. Mechanical Traction - Traction performed with pulleys or machines to stretch and decompress the spine.
