What is physical therapy?

Physical therapy is the health care profession that uses various types of exercises, mobilizations, and other manual therapy techniques to restore function lost after an injury, disease, or surgery. We objectively measure and record progress so you and your physician are updated with your improvements. Physical therapists also educate patients in methods to prevent future injuries or exacerbations.
